Zone raw from ready-to-eat, hold your chiller temperature, and keep product moving through the plant.

Your plant is a sequence of controlled zones. Raw goods in one end, process in the middle, packed product out the other, and the whole point is that those zones do not mix.
Doors are where control is lost. A hinged door in a busy production run gets wedged open by the first person carrying a crate, and once it is wedged your temperature zoning and your separation both stop working.
An auditor will find that. Zoning and temperature control are the backbone of a HACCP plan, and holding cold storage at temperature is a requirement under Standard 3.2.2.
Strip curtains give you a barrier with nothing to prop. Staff push through with crates, trolleys and pallet jacks, and the barrier closes itself behind them every single time.
They also partition where no doorway exists. A run of strips across an open production hall creates a zone boundary in a day, without building work and without a shutdown.
Specify by what goes through, not by the room. 3mm in 300mm width for goods-in and thoroughfares, 3mm ribbed Polarflex for chillers, and 5mm where a pallet truck runs.
Think about the plant as a flow rather than a set of rooms. Here is what we fit at each stage, and why.
3mm in 300mm width
Goods-in takes the heaviest traffic in the plant. Pallet jacks, stacked crates and drivers all come through, often with the roller door up for long stretches. Wider strips overlap more, so the seal survives it.
3mm ribbed, Polarflex Freezer grade
Cold storage is where the money is. Every opening dumps conditioned air and the plant pays to make it again. Ribbed PVC stops the strips sticking together in the damp cold.
This is the boundary your HACCP plan cares about. A run of strips separates raw process from ready-to-eat, and it can go up across an open hall where there is no doorway to work with.
Clear, 3mm
Despatch runs the same traffic as goods-in but in reverse. Clear strips here, so a driver reversing a pallet jack can see who is on the other side before they come through.
Step up to 5mm. It comes in 150mm or 300mm, flat surface only, and it takes the knocks that would tear 3mm over time.
Each photo has two bits of text. The caption is what people read under the picture. The alt text sits behind the image where you cannot see it, and is what a screen reader speaks aloud and what Google reads. Both need to be right.
These match the four zones above. Prices exclude delivery and were taken from the live catalogue on 20 August 2026.
This is our second time using strip doors, both times they have contacted us to offer advice after receiving our orders. This has, both times, resulted in us getting a product that suited our needs and application. Very quick delivery from time of order and i will use them again, very happy with this supplier.
Yes, and it is one of the more useful things they do in a plant. A run of strips creates a physical zone boundary in an open space, which supports the separation your HACCP plan requires. It is not a substitute for a wall where your plan specifies one, so check before you rely on it.
Yes. Our PVC is food grade and safe for use in food preparation, processing and storage environments.
The stainless steel hook-on head sections and plates will. Stainless is used precisely because these environments get washed down with aggressive chemicals. Clean the PVC itself with warm soapy water or a food-safe sanitiser rather than solvents.
There is no practical limit. Wide openings and open production halls are covered with a continuous run of strips on a head section, which is how the partitions in our photo gallery are built.
3mm is the default. It stands up to constant pallet jack and trolley traffic and insulates well enough for chillers. Step up to 5mm where a forklift or motorised pallet truck goes through, and drop to 2mm on light internal doorways.
Yes. Strips unhook individually from the stainless steel head section, so a damaged one comes off and gets replaced without taking the whole curtain down.
Yes, we ship Australia-wide. Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size of your order.
We make pvc doors for food processing to order, cut to your opening sizes and shipped Australia-wide. Start with cold storage and goods-in, because those two carry the most traffic and the most cost.
Send us your opening measurements and tell us what goes through each one. We will tell you what gauge to run where.
The page links out to these. They are the official sources, not competitors.
These are the things we could not confirm ourselves. The page cannot go live until they are sorted.
Our pick from the verified range, not yours. The 5mm x 300mm at $935 is the dearest thing we recommend anywhere, so worth a look.
The stainless tanks suggest a brewery or beverage plant rather than general food processing. The same photos appear on the Commercial Kitchen page. If you tell us the site we can caption both properly, and move them to whichever page they really belong on.
We have hedged it and said it is not a substitute for a wall. It is still a compliance claim, so we want your sign-off.
The testimonial is a genuine review about getting the right product for the application, which fits the page. But it does not name a processing plant.
Press send and it comes straight to Hilary. Nothing is sent until you do.
